SensASIAN : HEALING AND IDENTITY

SensAsian brings to you this month’s intentional theme: Healing & Activating the Voice.

An evening of spoken word + vocal activations + distance reiki + open mic community sharing + kareoke + dance journey⁣

It’s going to be deep ya’ll..⁣

Because behind these amazing offerings by a kickass lineup of powerful Asian womxn who've gone the distance through the light and dark of their own depths and shadows and came out stronger and more resilient on the other side...

Lies the sacred intention of us all coming together as a community to foster meaningful human connection, authentic expression, belonging, and well-being.⁣

This is a call for global solidarity. This is a call for more expression, strength, compassion, and unity in a world where we are experiencing rage, violence, racism, and fear as a pandemic wrongfully labeled as the "Chinese virus" influences the way we see each other and ourselves.

We need spaces for our voices more than ever.⁣

Join us for an evening acknowledging our cultural identity, as we move towards resilience, celebration, truth, singing, dancing, and community.

After the performances are over, we will open the floor for community shares.

You are welcome to share concerns, fears, offers/asks for support during this pivotal time in our lives.

You can also share your own spoken word/poetry piece tied towards identity/expression/healing or anything you feel called to share relevant to where you are today.

YOUR voice matters.
Let's hear it.
